We are delighted to welcome our newest member to the NXTGEN team: Will Burden!

Will has joined Jonny Harrison and focuses on recruiting for Finance roles throughout the Suffolk market.

Originally from Norwich, Will grew up wanting to be a football commentator but opted to study Business Management at Anglia Ruskin University due to the transferrable skills the degree offers and graduated in 2016.

After graduating, Will returned to Norwich found his way into the world of sales and customer services before finding himself a role in automotive recruitment almost 2 years ago.  Now, he has decided to bring his recruitment expertise to NXTGEN to focus on finance roles across the Suffolk market.

Speaking about working in recruitment, Will says: “It’s a fantastic career with so many prospects you can move into. It’s also a role where you are able to help people, whether it be someone out of work or making a progressive step it’s always a great feeling to help someone find something new.”

Outside of work, Will is a massive sports fan and supports Norwich City. With a 2-and-a-half-year-old son, he is very much a family man although does enjoy going for a drink with his friends when circumstances allow!

Facts about Will:

  • Likes: coffee, holidays abroad, drinks, and cars
  • Dislikes: English weather and classical music
  • A random fact about you: “I once won a bet with Kenny Burns (former Champion’s League winner with Nottingham Forest) that Norwich would beat Nottingham Forest whilst sitting in the Forest Director’s Box, and on the way home got on Radio 5 Live!”

For more information on how Will can help your business, or to learn more about available finance roles across Suffolk, contact him today on 01603 273489 or email wburden@nxtgenrecruitment.co.uk.
