NXTGEN is working with a small but well-established Chartered Accountants in Attleborough to recruit an Accountant who will join their friendly team. Due to recent organic growth, this firm is in a position to tailor the role to your skills and experience, including full-time and part-time options. This role will require a focus on accounts preparation, tax, and bookkeeping, they are happy to shape the position around your strengths. As part of a small, close-knit team, you'll be working with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting services and developing strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparing and submitting tax returns
- Providing bookkeeping services and assisting with VAT returns
- Supporting clients with queries and ensuring they receive an outstanding service
What we're looking for:
- Experience working within an accountancy practice is a must
- AAT, ACCA/ACA Studier or QBE
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation
- A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
