In this progressive role, you will work closely with a highly experienced Manager, handling a small portfolio of clients and managing all aspects of bookkeeping. Due to continued growth, the company needs someone with your expertise to provide hands-on advice and bookkeeping services while working collaboratively with internal finance teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the bookkeeping needs of a diverse group of local businesses.
- Supporting the Manager in delivering high-level financial insights and hands-on advice.
- Month-end preparation.
- VAT compliance.
About You:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within an accountancy practice or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a keen eye for detail.
