As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll join this vibrant firm at a pivotal moment, working closely with Directors to manage a diverse client portfolio while actively contributing to the firm's ongoing growth. Your responsibilities will include accounts preparation, management accounts, VAT and tax returns, and supporting junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied client portfolio efficiently
- Prepare Management Accounts and Financial Statements for clients
- Assist with VAT and tax returns for the client portfolio
- Contribute to business development efforts, driving new client acquisition and supporting firm growth
- Support the training and development of junior team members
What you will need:
- Have prior experience working in an Accountancy practice setting
- Studying towards either your ACCA or ACA qualification
- Excellent communication skills and eager to get involved within the business culture

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with experience in an Accountancy practice. While a background in general practice and accounts preparation is preferred, those with experience in Audit or Tax are also encouraged to apply, as our client offers a distinctive work environment.
