NXTGEN is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join a growing Accountancy practice located just north of Norwich. As an Accounts Assistant, you'll receive one-on-one support from experienced staff and hands-on guidance from Directors who are committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This role will be customised to align with your skills and career goals, allowing you to effectively manage your workload while developing professionally. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone looking to gain experience across a wide range of accounting duties. You'll be involved in tasks such as preparing accounts for a range of clients, assisting with management accounts, supporting VAT and Tax Returns, and contributing to the Bookkeeping function for a variety of clients. As your skills grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and further your career.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing accounts for a diverse range of clients.
- Support the preparation of management accounts, VAT, and Tax returns.
- Assist with Bookkeeping tasks.
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Provide prompt support for clients' ad hoc queries.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in an Accountancy practice or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
