NXTGEN are working with an established business based near Eye who are in need of a Payroll Administrator with the role available for an immediate interview and start. Due to the current situation with Covid-19, the role will initially be based remotely.
As Payroll Administrator you will be processing weekly and monthly payrolls, taking responsibility from end to end. This will include processing all new starters and finishes as well as all HMRC submissions and technical requirements.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
– Manage end to end payroll tasks in a timely manner
– Ensure all benefits are processed accurately and efficiently
– Efficiently manage payroll queries
– Calculate SSP, SMP & SPP
– Issue all relevant information to new starters and HMRC
The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience working within Payroll (Team and Individual environments both considered) and will be confident managing things from end to end. Candidates will need to demonstrate good technical knowledge and will be up to date on UK Payroll legislation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is also key to be considered.
